Reason for Playing:
Purchased in a bundle (and I wanted to ensure value)

I wanted to play Yaga, but the game didn't get past some sort of initial loading. A game-related screen comes up, but then it goes back to the Steam logo. I tried three or four times. During one of the attempts, I first used the "Verify integrity of game files..." feature. Since the game wouldn't load, I decided to play Raven's Hike.

Once again I tried to load this game. It didn't work and so I tried again to "Verify integrity...". Then I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game. When it didn't work, I played Raven's Hike (trying to beat the game in an hour). After Raven's Hike, I tried again and still it didn't work.
Despite the game saying that it's verified to work on the Steam Deck, I decided to force the game to launch with Proton 6.3. Surprisingly, the game booted after this change!
Steam Game Time: 11 minutes (total game time)
Unfortunately, I was getting sleepy and fighting sleep in order to play this game. I would nod off and wake up finding Ivan, the player character, walking towards a wall (because my finger was held down on the joystick). I'd then have to reorient myself, before continuing. Eventually I decided to go to sleep. Thus far it is a fun game.

When I started playing today I had to repeat a chunk of progress and under arguably less favorable bonuses. Then, like yesterday, I got sleepy. I need to pick a better time to play this game. Or make more frequent use of the Steam Deck pause feature.
