Today I tried this game out. The story mode ramps up in difficulty. I was using Weiss.

I watched a video that said Heart with her default Arcana, Partinias the Arcana of Love, is essentially the game's starter character. That actually makes sense given the title of the game. Apparently she (Heart Aino) is the protagonist of the series. Anyways that was enough to convince me to play as her. It was still not magically easy so I read a general article abour fighting games. Separately I also read about Z: it's forward, down, forward-down (or 623 in fighting notation).
