Overview: Sugar Cube: Bittersweet Factory is a puzzle platformer where hidden tiles are activated as the protagonist passes them. Use the hidden tiles to make it to the exit of each level.

I gave Sugar Cube: Bittersweet Factory a try today but it wasn't nearly as fun as I thought it would be.

Setup: Windowed. Keyboard.

Steam: 30 minutes

Thoughts:
Cons:
- Unintuitive gameplay (e.g., hidden tiles are not always known to the player and can only be found via trial-and-error.)
- Boring

Summary:
While the game had the potential to be better, I had no interest to continue playing and find out if it would.

With that being said, I should note that one of the reasons I didn't like the game was because it required some trial-and-error. However, this complaint doesn't capture the full picture. Once many years ago I played and enjoyed Super Pig, a platformer that also requires trial-and-error. But in contrast to Sugar Cube, Super Pig was somehow extremely enjoyable.
