Star Wars: Squadrons (PC) (2020)

Overview: A space combat game set in the Star Wars universe.
20210108:
There's a lot going on in combat, but it was fun to play the game using the HOTAS (hands on throttle-and-stick). I'm curious if I would benefit from adding VR which I could use to better orient myself in the 3D space. I should probably also read some tips and watch some guides. For example, I have no understanding of how to pursue and track other pilots in a flight game.

Setup: Single-player. Pilot Experience: Standard. Difficulty: Story Mode. At first I tried playing with yaw on the rudder. Then I tried yaw on the throttle. I eventually went back to yaw on the rudder.

Gameplay Log:
I hope there's some kind of free range practice mode.

The game was accidentally launched. It took a while before I noticed and closed it.

20210112 (Part 1):
Today I tested out my new PVC setup (I attached a PVC frame to my chair onto which I mounted my HOTAS). It mostly feels good. In particular, I like the "built-in force feedback": as I move the controls, the chair rocks and moves accordingly. Though I think the setup needs some minor adjustments.

Mission 2 The Skies of Yavin

Total Game Time: (session) 30 minutes; (total) 2 hours 7 minutes
20210112 (Part 2):
I made some tweaks to my PVC setup and after dinner I was ready to jump back into the game.
