This was my first time trying VRChat. The experience was very different from observing people playing it on Twitch.

Setup: Desktop mode (not VR)

20210130:
Today I tried playing the game with my friend (J.K.). The audio wasn't great, but maybe this was due to my audio settings. Furthermore, apparently the game's system requirements are such that a Zenbook wasn't able to deliver one of the in-game experiences at full speed (a submarine tour).

Thoughts:
Pros:
+ Can make and import 3D models
+ Can make your own worlds

Neutral:
~ Playing without a VR device feels limited.
~ The UI wasn't the most intuitive; maybe the game needs more tutorials

Cons:
- The way in which a player is to find, create, and/or import new models lacks documentation.
- Invitations seemed difficult to do
- No clear way to interact with people of your age group
