Overview: A fighting game based on characters in DC Comics. Playable characters include Batman, The Joker, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash.
20141018:
The game was available to play during the Steam Free Weekend,
Gameplay Log:
Tutorial. Play as Batman and learn the basics.
Story Mode. The gameplay is interspersed with a story, the player must play specific characters at certain points in the story. The first character is Batman.
Getting used to the game, I tried to remember what I had learned from the tutorial.
The second character is The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). I was ready to look up the move list. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to press start! [The default "start" button is "4" when using the keyboard.]
The third character is Aquaman, and the fourth character is The Joker.
While The Joker was fun, I needed to take a break. At that point, I decided to check out how many chapters there were. I learned the order of characters: Batman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, The Joker, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Batman, Lex Luthor, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman.
Unfortunately I didn't get around to playing any more of Injustice: Gods Among Us, but I for the most part I enjoyed the game. In particular, I thought the stage interactions were pretty cool (I don't know how standard this is in fighting games, but its a nice game feature). Perhaps, however, the best part of the game was the cutscenes.

Steam Game Time: 2.1 hours
20190812:
Today I played Injustice: Gods Among Us to help break even on my purchase of the Humble WB Games Classics Bundle.
Gameplay Log:
I replayed the Tutorial. (~25 minutes)
At one point in the tutorial I had trouble with X, X, 6, 6 + RT. Apparently the trick was to press RT at the same time as the second 6. I initially was doing X, X, 6, 6, RT.
I picked up from where I left off with story mode: "Chapter Four: The Joker - Pick a Card" (Joker versus Nightwing).
Completed the last battle in Story Mode about 2.5 hours after resuming it.
About another twenty minutes for story, credits, and exploring the game menu
Steam Game Time: 5.5 hours (total game time) / 3.4 hours (session game time)

Thoughts:*
Pros:
+ Fun and simple game mechanics.
+ Good Visuals (especially with environment interactions)
Neutral:
~ Certain character match-ups are not believable. For example, Superman versus Batman.
*I've only played Story Mode.
