Overview on Steam: Can you think twice in under a second?
Mechanics: I honestly didn't understand the game during the "tutorial." It's possible I may have missed something during the intro. As such, I'll black out the mechanics if you want to "figure it out." The basic goal of the game is as follows: Left Click when the color of the word matches the written word and right click when they don't. Later on in the game there are some exceptions to this basic gameplay: when the game displays "inverted controls" then it's the opposite and when the game displays "don't switch" then just wait (or type out the color; probably faster to wait).
The game has three unlockable skills. The first is permanently unlockable, the second is for a one minute duration, and the third is one-time use (you'll be prompted if you want to use it).
Among the different components of the game, the last to mention here is that the game introduces new elements in stages, and each new stage is associated with a continent. Upon reaching a new continent, the player can unlock that continent as a starting point with channel points. Go into the skills menu to unlock and choose the desired starting point.

Today I was looking through games on my laptop to play and skipped about five or so titles before coming to OLDTV. The initial appearance of the game was interesting, but I was confused about how to play the game. Eventually I figured it out, but there were many other components that were unexplained.
Setup: Touchpad. I'm not sure how it is to play with a mouse, but the touchpad is prone to light touches. So while on a mouse with physical buttons I would be able to stop and take back a decision at the last moment, the touchpad essentially results in a decision being locked in as soon as the finger lands (though a physical press registers better).
Tip: I realized the colored word flies in and one can make use of that time to gain information and potentially determine the answer. Prior to this, I was essentially waiting for the word to be still on the screen before even starting the decision process.
Steam Game Time: 1.3 hours
Thoughts:
Pros:
+ Simple and fun
+ Fairly balanced; some of the colors are close together (like Cyan and Blue).
Neutral:
~ Probably needs to be played with actual mouse. Which there was an option for keyboard buttons.
~ A training mode would be useful; the game heavily relies on color differentiation
Cons:
- Cryptic interface and rules
