Overview: Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a reverse tower defense.

I started out playing Anomaly: Warzone Earth HD on my new phone. It was fun and I wanted to get some screenshots for it and so I ran Anomaly: Warzone Earth on my PC. I was surprised to learn, however, that the two games follow a similar story and idea, but the actual game play and mechanics differ.

Comparison of Anomaly: Warzone Earth (PC) and Anomaly: Warzone Earth HD (Android):
1) Using abilities:
PC: Use the commander to physically go to a location in order to collect and deploy abilities.
Android: Deploy and collect abilities with the touch-screen.
2) Gameplay:
PC: Complex and intricate, but more fun. For example, in the PC version, sometimes a disaster would occur that destroy the path and I would have to react and change the path.
Android: Simple and easy to learn. Feels fluid.
3) Graphics: The PC version has better graphics, hands down.

20140128:
I haven't played Anomaly: Warzone Earth in a while. Today I had trouble sleeping and played a little on my computer before going back to sleep.
While I stopped after only playing Mission 04 and Mission 05, I was reminded about the fun and strategy involved with the game.
Note that I may have previously found the Android version "easier to learn and more fluid than those for the PC version" simply because I played it first. Getting back into the PC version today, I didn't even have to replay Mission 01, 02, or 03 to remember how to play the game.
The only thing I had forgotten was that the Commander sets up a health station which lasts a short duration and that all units passing through its effect radius get healed. I realized this near the end of Mission 05 and prior to that I thought I was choosing which units to heal.
Random Note: The story has a total of 14 missions.
