Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo (PC) (1995)

Decided to play this with Mia, and later Ben participated.

Setup: Initial part of the game on Steam Deck. Later PC.

Gameplay Log:
We entered the zoo and met the mother snake. I would let Mia click on some items on the Steam Deck while I focused on moving the story along by navigating from place to place.
From my point of view, Mia's emotional state seemed to reflect the mother snake's sadness and when we had to stop there she seemed to have really wanted to continue playing and saving the baby animals.
When we resumed, we resumed upstairs where I extended the desktop to the big screen tv. I mostly controlled this time with the kids watching or giving input. Ben gave a lot more feedback as he is older and more vocal. Mia mostly watched and laughed.
We completed the game.

Thoughts:
Pros:
+ Reasonably linear and straightforward

Neutral:
~ Tip: press S to save, press L to load, press F5 to go to menu.
~ Younger kids probably would have a tough time playing this game on their own.
~ There was a mini-game that was basically air hockey that wasn't so bad

Cons:
- I played a mini-game (find the safari animals) and my older kid was bored of it. I was also bored of it, but I tried to engage with it to see where it would go. It didn't really go anywhere.
- I wish the game had captions. It can be hard to make out some of the older audio.
