This game is very simple, difficult, and yet not frustrating. I enjoyed the challenge of having to adapt to the next weapon and simultaneously having to choose between making a B-line for the next crate or using the current weapon to clear out some enemies. Speaking of which, I originally didn't realize the importance of clearing out enemies. In particular, allowing them to reach the bottom makes them fast and dangerous, which is sometimes okay.

Two powers that can be used more defensively are the mines and the flamethrower.
Note that perhaps the laptop keyboard wasn't a great input device, because sometimes I would press jump and my character didn't jump resuling in my death. It's also possible this was a problem with the finetuning of the game itself.

Today I played for a short time to grab some screenshots. The experience was bad, because there was some sort of frame rate or refresh incompatibility which caused the game to run extra fast.
